Workfit is an innovative workplace health program developed by Vital Health. It is designed to empower your business to be proactive in monitoring and improving the health of your workforce in order to maximise workplace performance and productivity, decrease absenteeism, minimise recordable injuries, improve morale and positively influence attitudes towards health and safety in the workplace.

Vital Health’s Providers’ are Jobfit trained and utilise the Workfit program which enables the provision of the following workplace services:

  • Assessment of physical demands and risks associated with roles (task analysis)
  • Drafting and/or review of internal health and safety policies and procedures
  • Training of managers/staff individually or in groups in self-management of pressure, fatigue and stress related illnesses and injuries
  • Drug and alcohol testing (randomised and post-incident)
  • Audiometry and vision screening services
  • Spirometry (lung function) and cardiac (fitness) testing services
  • Workplace ergonomic evaluations
  • Workplace conditioning programs
  • Manual handling training
  • Injury prevention training including stretching
  • Injury assessment, treatment and rehabilitation
  • Return to work coordination and supervision
  • Worksite gym and individual exercise programs
  • Worksite and individual dietetic assessments
  • Worksite kitchen meal/menu reviews
  • Health and wellbeing education

Vital Health is also able to provide onsite physiotherapy, podiatry, occupational therapy, dietetics, exercise physiology and massage therapy services. Additionally, as our Providers’ are accustomed to working as part of a multidisciplinary team, they are well positioned to work alongside occupational health nurses, doctors and physicians.
